FLASH POETRY

a little west of silence

the detour said

take the road into the hills

and never look back

don’t mind the endless holes

of buried nonsense

or the cavern where your heart lies

seek where seeking blinds most

a precipice fit for the noble

an outlook that’s outlived others

and wait for a feast that starves
